As Chairman of the Ninth Congressional District Republican Committee, I, Adam L. Tolbert, do hereby issue this official call for a meeting of the District Committee to be held as indicated.

Date:          Saturday, December 5, 2015

Location:      Wythe County Courthouse
245 S. 4th Street.
Wytheville, VA 24382

COMMITTEE VOTING MEMBERS:

If you have a previous irrevocable conflict and cannot attend, a proxy must represent you.  We must have a quorum in order to conduct business.  A copy of the proxy form is attached with important notes.

If you are sending a proxy to represent you, please provide the proxy with a copy of this call, agenda, and all meeting materials.

REGISTER: 9th District Republican Leadership Conference

Come join fellow Republicans from all across the 9th District for our inaugural 9th District Republican Leadership Conference.  Sessions will be held on key topics that are important for local Republican unit leaders and activists.

The conference is a joint effort of Congressman Morgan Griffith and 9th District Republican Chairman Adam Tolbert.

We will have the following special guests/sessions:

  • Meet the New RPV Chairman – John Whitbeck
  • The Role of the Local Unit Committee – David Suetterlein, Roanoke County Republican Chairman
  • Media Relations – Matt Moran, Communications Director for William J. Howell, Speaker of the Virginia House of Delegates
  • All About Party Plans – Mike Thomas, RPV First Vice Chair
  • Fundraising – Kevin Gentry, RPV Eastern Vice Chairman
  • Planning a Local Unit Fundraising Event – Zack Thompson & Aidan Williams, Giles County Republican Committee
