I, Terry Sivert, Chairman of Scott County Republican Party, in consultation and agreement with the other members of the 40^th Senatorial Legislative District Committee in excess of 1/3 of voting members in the absence of a Committee Chairman, do hereby call for a meeting of the 40^th Senatorial Legislative District Committee to convene on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 4:30 pm at the Business Incubator Facilities, 851 French Moore Jr Blvd, Abingdon, Virginia.

Members of the general public are able as well as encouraged to attend and observe the meeting.

The purpose of the meeting will be to:

--elect a 40^th Senatorial Legislative District Committee Chairman for the 2019-2022 term;

--select the method of nomination for our candidate for next year’s election;

--and any other business that may properly come before the committee.
