Griffith Statement on Passing of Former U.S. Rep. William C. Wampler Sr.

Wednesday, May 23 –

Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) released the following statement today after receiving the news that former Ninth District Congressman William C. Wampler Sr. had died:

“I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of former Ninth District Congressman William Wampler, ‘The Bald Eagle of the Cumberlands.’  Bill was a good friend and a courageous public servant.  My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, Lee; his children; friends; and loved ones.  May God give them comfort during this difficult time.”

AG Cuccinelli Town Hall Meetings
