As a result of Virginia’s 2021 Redistricting Process, we would like to welcome Franklin County and Bedford County (partial) to the 9th Congressional District! Additionally, we welcome the entirety of Henry County to the 9th and some different areas of Roanoke County.
We would like to say thank you to the Alleghany County/Covington and Salem units, which have moved to the 6th Congressional District, for their leadership and commitment while being units in the 9th Congressional District.
The Supreme Court of Virginia issued its final order on December 28, 2021 which sets out Virginia’s new districts for the U.S. House of Representatives, the Senate of Virginia, and the Virginia House of Delegates.
This web site will be updated to reflect the units added to and removed from the 9th Congressional District.
